How to Play UNO Spin Card Game

Uno Spin is a game by Mattel similar to the popular game Uno. It is played in the same fashion by matching cards in the pile and collecting points, but this game involves a spinner board. Cards are drawn from the draw pile, while five cards of each color out contain a spin symbol on them. The person who collects the most, or least points, depending on which way the game is played, wins.

Instructions

    • 1

Place the cards face down on a table. Each player draws a card; the person who draws the highest card becomes the dealer.

    • 2

Shuffle cards and deal each player seven cards. Place the remaining cards in the middle of the game board face down. The first card is placed face up to be used for the discard pile next to the draw pile. The player on the left has first turn.

    • 3

Match the discard pile card by color, symbol, number or a wild card. For example, if there is a Blue 2, match the discard pile's first card by either a 2 of any color, or a blue card of any number or symbol. If no cards match, the player must take a card from the draw pile. If a player has a number card with a spin symbol on it, they can play it and place it on the discard pile and the next player in turn must spin the wheel. The wheel can force you to draw cards or discard them, depending on the space landed on.

Yell "UNO!" when any player has one card left. The person who goes out first by discarding all the cards in their hand is the winner of the hand. Points are awarded two ways: The winner of the hand collects all the cards of the remaining players and adds them up for points; or the losers add up their own hand and write the points down. The person who gets to 500 points wins in the first scenario, or loses in the second. All number cards are face value for points. "Draw Two," "Reverse" and "Skip" are 20 points, and "Wild" and "Draw Four" are 50 points.
