How to Kill the Monster in "Armand & the Foppish Hat"
"Armand and the Foppish Hat" is a free online adventure game that's modeled after the classic "Zelda" games, but the stakes are quite as high. Your stylish hat has been stolen before a night of partying and your wardrobe won't be complete without it. You'll eventually see the hat in the catacombs after completing a half dozen favors for different townspeople, but it's guarded by a large cyclops. The cyclops is very quick for such a large monster, but it is not invulnerable.

Play through the game until you reach the boss fight with the cyclops in the catacombs. You'll see a man in a black cloak run through the door to the north, and your hat will be sitting on the right side of the room.

Press "Z" to throw swords at the cyclops. Press "X" to use the 10 throwing axes -- if you have any left -- you received during a previous quest. The cyclops moves around a lot and will be throwing weapons at you. Dodge its attacks while throwing your own weapons at it.

Walk over the hat to pick it up if your health gets low. When you pick up the hat you'll gain an extra health slot, and it fills your other health slots. Keep attacking the cyclops and you'll defeat him after hitting him approximately eight times.
