Perforce offers both client and server versions of its software configuration management software and lets developers, software testers and other users collaborate on development projects. The server version acts as a central file repository and lets users with the client version of the software connect and access project files. You may need to uninstall Perforce if you need to perform an upgrade of either version, or if you no longer need to use Perforce.
Click the Windows "Start" button and type "Uninstall a Program" in the Search box. Press the "Enter" key to display a list of your installed programs.
Select "Perforce Visual Components" in the list if you have the client version, or select "Perforce Server Components" if you have the server version. Click the "Uninstall" button above the programs list, and click "Yes" on the confirmation message. This launches the program's uninstaller program.
Click "Yes" on the User Account Control alert, if prompted by Windows. The program will then be uninstalled.
Restart your computer after the program is removed. This will remove the files that the uninstall process left behind on your hard drive.
