Microsoft Word 2007 allows you to create documents with text, graphics, charts and WordArt. The WordArt feature is used to add special effects to text, including color, gradients, stretching, skewing and curving. Making text curve enhances the look and feel of a document and is useful when creating material such as posters, brochures and pamphlets that are meant to be visually appealing.

  • Double-click the Microsoft Word file of choice to open the document in Microsoft Word 2007.

  • Click the "Insert" tab on the top menu.

  • Click the "Text" group.

  • Click "WordArt."

  • Click the WordArt style with the desired curve strength.

  • Enter your desired text in the WordArt text box, and click "OK."
