How to Make an Avatar on "Neopets"
Neopets is a website on which you can create and play games with a virtual pet. Avatars are displayed next to your user name when you post a topic on the message boards, or "NeoBoards." As you play, you will receive messages that you have "found" a new avatar. You can set this to be your avatar by customizing your chat preferences in the "Boards" section of the website. You can also use any default avatars.

Open your Internet browser and go to the Neopets website. Log in to your account.

Click on the "Boards" link on the navigation bar. Wait for the page to load and click on the "Preferences" link directly beneath the navigation bar.

Find the "Avatar" section. Click on the drop-down menu labeled "Choose a new av:" to expand it. Select an avatar from the list. Preview the avatar in the preview area to the right.

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Submit" button to save your changes.
