Zen Cart is an open source e-commerce solution designed to help small businesses create and maintain Web-based stores. Businesses can create and send newsletters, emails and product updates to their mailing lists directly through Zen Cart.

Instructions

      Log in to your Zen Cart control panel to go directly to your Admin Home panel.

      Click "Tools" on the menu bar to see the drop-down list.

      Click "Send Email" option.

    • 4

      Select either "HTMLarea" or "Plain Text" from the "Text Editor" drop-down box.

      Select a customer name from the "Customer" drop-down box.

      Type in subject information on the "Subject" line.

    • 7

      Move your cursor into the text box area and type your message.

    • 8

      Click the "Preview" button at the bottom of the form.

      Click "Send Email" if you are satisfied with the preview.

    • 10

      If you are not satisfied, click "Back" to return to the previous page, or click "Cancel" to cancel the email.

Tips & Warnings

  • You can choose to send emails to all your customers, individuals, or select groups that have never ordered from you.

  • You can use the "send email" option to send emails, newsletters, or product update notices to your customers.
