How to Add a Light to a Miniature Church
Miniature churches provide adorable decorations for a home. You can display them alone on a shelf or as part of a village in a holiday display. While some miniature churches are completely solid, others are hollow. If your tiny church has windows, adding a light creates a festive touch that adds to the realism of the miniature building. - Pencil
- Drill
- Circle or masonry drill bit
- Battery operated pumpkin light

Mark an "X" on the bottom center of your miniature church with a pencil.

Drill a hole in the bottom of the miniature church with a circle or masonry drill bit. Use a drill bit with a circumference that's slightly wider than your light. If your church is made from ceramics instead of wood, use a tile bit on a slow speed and create enough holes to form one big one.

Turn on a battery-operated pumpkin light, which resembles the size and shape of a tea light candle. Place the light where you plan to keep the miniature church.

Place the hole on the bottom of the miniature church over the pumpkin light to see the building light up.

Tips & Warnings
Using a battery-operated light instead of a plug-in light allows the church bottom to lay flat against the table or shelf without a cord interfering.
