How to Report Unregistered Sex Offenders in Ohio

How to Report Unregistered Sex Offenders in Ohio thumbnail
You can report unregistered sex offenders to the police.

When a sex offender is released from prison he must abide by the terms of his release. If the offender is released on parole, he must register with a parole officer; if he is released after the completion of his sentence, he must register with the local police department. All sex offenders must be registered. The Ohio Attorney General's Office does not include all sex offenders in the Ohio sex offender database. Juvenile sex offenders are not placed on this list. If you are aware of a sex offender in your Ohio neighborhood who is not registered -- whether or not he is a juvenile offender -- you can report him to your local police department.
