How to Open a Microsoft .LIT
Microsoft literature format files, which end in the .LIT file extension, are e-book files for Microsoft Reader. LIT files can be protected with digital rights management protection if they're purchased from a store. You can open a Microsoft .LIT file and read the e-book using the free Microsoft Reader application on your computer. Microsoft .LIT files are an older file format. Most e-book readers, including the Amazon Kindle, Barnes & Noble Nook and Sony Reader don't support .LIT files, and can't read them.
