How to Find Mateons in "MapleStory"
The Mateon is an enemy in the massively multiplayer online roleplaying game (MMORPG) "MapleStory." Mateons are three-eyed alien creatures that are at level 66, with 8,000 hit points; they appear on five interconnected maps in the game. Mateons drop equipment for warriors, magicians, bowmen and thieves, as well as some items that are usable by all game characters, and they attack using long-range magic.

Start out at Ludibrium Village.

Go all the way to the left, into the "Eos Tower Entrance."

Go all the way to the left again, and enter "Eos Tower 100th Floor."

Fight your way down to "Eos Tower 1st Floor." At the bottom of the map is the entrance to "Omega Sector: Safety Zone."

Enter "Omega Sector: Safety Zone."

Go all the way to the left to enter "Omega Sector."

Head all the way to the left again to enter "Omega Sector: Off-Limits." Mateons are found in this area, as well as in "Boswell Fields I," "Boswell Fields II," "Boswell Fields III" and "Mateon Field," which are connected to "Omega Sector: Off-Limits."
