  1. Step 1

Research mansions, estates, museums or art galleries that offer their spaces for smaller parties.

  2. Step 2

Consider holding the reunion at a committee member's house or vacation home.

  3. Step 3

Call beachside restaurants with large, intimate patios to inquire about reserving a space for the reunion.

  4. Step 4

Take a trip to the slopes and rent a cabin in the mountains, or reserve a beachside cottage for the weekend.

  5. Step 5

Create special gift packs for all attendees. Include school memorabilia, photos from the past, relics from the era and personalized trinkets.

  6. Step 6

Plan a sit-down dinner for the main event instead of a less intimate buffet-style meal.

Tips & Warnings
  • Bring your own stereo or boom box instead of hiring a DJ. You will have total control over the music and will avoid the banquet feel that a DJ often creates.

on 6/30/2006 Have the classmates submit a baby picture of themselves at the class reunion and post them on a poster board or cork board and have the classmates try to identify the persons pictured.

on 11/22/2005 For fun - Set a basket filled with cards that have a class members name on each one at the registration desk. As classmates register have them draw a card and on the back they must write what they remember most about that person. This is so much fun to read later on in the night and you are sure to get alot of laughs.
