Liquid manure is a concentrated form of fertilizer that leaves your land and gardens healthy. This works because the liquid form of the manure does not have to break down first before the nutrients are available to the plants.   • Large bucket or tub with lid
  • Cheesecloth bag
  • Small bucket
  • Watering can

Instructions

      Place the manure substance into a bag made from cheesecloth. Use approximately one-tenth the amount of manure for the volume of water that you are placing in your large tub or bucket.

      Allow to seep in the bucket or tub for three weeks. Dunk the bag in the bucket every day to help agitate the materials. Keep the lid closed when you are not dunking the bag to keep flies and other insects away. If using store-bought liquid manure, follow the instructions on the package for mixing and dilution.

      Strain the bag and remove it from the bucket after three weeks. Place one part liquid manure in four parts water for use on land or in gardens.

      Water your plants before using them mixture so that the ground is wet. Add the liquid manure mixture to a watering can and place directly on plants to fertilize them. Use up to 5 gallons per week for every 6 square yards of land.
