Wash and dry hair as you normally would. A ponytail will look nicer with clean hair. Brush your hair thoroughly to ensure it's tangle-free.
-
2
Rub a small, dime-sized amount of styling gel into your hair, using both hands to distribute evenly.

3
Brush hair into a ponytail, brushing over the head and around the sides and gathering the hair as you brush. The ponytail should sit low, right at the base of the neck.
-
4
Secure the ponytail with a hair elastic. Dab gel over any flyaways and smooth the hair down.
