How to Make a Yoda Puppet

In the fictional "Star Wars" universe, Yoda is an ancient and wise character who teaches other characters the ways of the Jedi. Yoda appears in five of the "Star Wars" movies. Visually, Yoda is a fairly simple character; he is green and dresses in a simple brown robe. To make a Yoda puppet you don't need to be crafty, you need only the ability to cut and paste.

Instructions

    • 1

Leave your brown paper bag folded. Lay it in front of you so the bottom is facing up. Any size bag will do, but the lunch-sized bags work best.

    • 2

Cut a circle from your green paper with your scissors. The circle should be large enough to cover the bottom portion of the bag.

    • 3

Glue the circle to the bottom of the bag. This will be Yoda's head.

    • 4

Make Yoda's nose by cutting a diamond out of green paper. Fold the diamond in half and glue it to the front middle of the face with the point facing down.

    • 5

Cut two triangles out of the green construction paper for Yoda's ears. Glue one to each side of his head.

    • 6

Glue two google eyes to the green circle that is Yoda's head.

    • 7

Cut a strip of red paper to glue under the flap of the bottom of the bag. This will be Yoda's mouth.

    • 8

Lay a piece of brown paper on top of the brown paper bag. Cut the paper to fit from the bottom of Yoda's face to the bottom edge of the bag in length and cut it to fit the bag width. Cut a V shape out of the top edge of the brown paper to make the collar of Yoda's robe.

    • 9

Cut two identically sized arms from brown paper and glue one to each side of the bag positioned an inch or two below the face. Glue the brown piece of paper you just cut for his robe to the bag over top the arms so the arms are sticking out.

    • 10

Make two hands for Yoda out of green construction paper. Glue the hands to the arms that you attached to the body.
