How to Reinstall AutoCAD Architecture After It Already Exists
AutoDesk AutoCAD Architecture, originally released in 1998, is part of AutoDesk's larger catalog of computer-aided drafting software. Designed to be used by architectural professionals, the software is capable of understanding the relationship between a window or door and has other features specifically tailored toward the needs of architects. Reinstalling AutoCAD Architecture is no different than reinstalling any other standard Windows software and requires nothing more than access to your computer's Control Panel.

Click on your computer's "Start" menu and navigate to the "Control Panel." Enter the "Programs and Features" submenu and select the "Uninstall/Change" menu option.

Scroll down the window and select the "AutoCAD Architecture" option. Then, click the "Uninstall/Change" button to load the AutoCAD Architecture installation manager.

Click "Repair or Reinstall" and select the "Reinstall My AutoCAD Architecture Installation" option from this menu. If prompted, enter your AutoCAD Architecture licensing information and wait for the reinstallation to finish.

Click the "Finish" button once the installation manager reports that it has finished reinstalling AutoCAD Architecture.

If you operate on a network license, you may want to ask your IT personnel to perform the reinstallation for you.
