How to Use Your Yahoo! to Text an AT&T Member
Yahoo! gives you two different ways to send a text to an AT&T phone. You can do so from Yahoo! Messenger, which only requires you to use the phone's number. If you choose to send the text from Yahoo! Mail instead, you must also include a suffix that indicates that the recipient phone is an AT&T phone. Whichever method you choose, any responses to your text come by that same method. If you send a text via email, a response appears in your email inbox. If you use Yahoo! Messenger instead, responses appear as part of a Messenger conversation.
