How to Find Out Who IDKs You on LinkedIn

When requesting to connect with someone on the LinkedIn professional social network, you can choose a number of different options to indicate how you know the person to whom you want to connect. If someone sends you a request, you are shown the connection you have to that person on the "Invitations" page -- including if that person indicated he or she doesn't know you. You can figure out who sends you LinkedIn requests and chooses IDK (I don't know) in just a few steps.

Instructions

    • 1

Visit the LinkedIn website at LinkedIn.com.

    • 2

Click the "Inbox" option at the top of the page.

    • 3

Move to the "Invitations" tab. This displays the LinkedIn connection requests you've received. Each request shows the way the potential connection indicated that they know you. If a person clicked "I don't know ___" (where the blank is your name), you will be told this under the potential connection's name.
