Instructions
-
Fix a Detached Elastic Strap
-
1
Trim the detached end of the strap elastic to make it straight and even.
-
2
Place the elastic strap back in place on the underside of the elastic band of the bra 1/2-inch below the old zip-zag stitching, and pin into place.
-
-
3
Sew the strap to the bra on the front side, using the zig-zag stitch of the sewing machine. Sew over the continuous existing line of zig zag stitch, filling in the broken or removed stitches. Make 3 rows of stitching, one over the other, covering the entire width of the strap elastic.
-
4
Remove the pin.
Fix a Loose Bow
-
5
Trim any loose threads at the bow site and clip off the bow if it's loose.
-
6
Place the bow on the bra where it is to be attached.
-
7
Place both the bra and bow underneath the sewing machine needle.
-
8
Sew the bow to the bra through the center of the bow knot, using a machine straight stitch. Begin the stitch 1/8 inch from one edge of the bow and end it 1/8-inch after the other edge. Stitch the bow on using 3 rows of stitching, one on top of another.
