How to Embed Facebook Plugins With Tumblr

Facebook has several types of plugins and badges that you can create and embed into any website or service that supports HTML. Tumblr is one such service, and it allows you to paste HTML widgets into your Tumblr blog via the "Description" section of your blog. Using this field, you can embed a Facebook plugin badge into your Tumblr profile so that your Tumblr readers can find you easily on Facebook.

      Highlight, right-click and copy the code for the Facebook plugin badge you created at Facebook.com/badges.

      Visit the Tumblr website at Tumblr.com and log in with your email address and password.

      Click on the blog into which you'd like to embed a Facebook plugin. The blog names associated with your Tumblr account are located at the top of the Dashboard page.

      Click "Customize Appearance" in the right sidebar.

      Open the "Info" menu and, in the "Description" field, right-click and select "Paste" to paste your Facebook plugin code into the box.
