How to Disable Igfxpers.Exe


Igfxpers.exe is a process that provides configuration options for NVidia graphics cards. The process is not considered an essential Windows process and it can be disabled. Keep in mind that disabling the process may prevent the NVidia graphics card from working properly. Additionally, disabling the process is a temporary measure, and the process can be enabled at a later time. Nevertheless, you may want to disable the process in order to speed up the boot time of your computer.

  • Click "Start," type "services.msc" into the search field and press "Enter." The Services window opens.

  • Right-click "Igfxpers.exe" and select "Properties." The Properties window opens.

  • Click "Stop" in the "Properties" window.

  • Select "Disable" from the "Startup Type" drop-down menu and click "Apply." The process is now disabled.
