Adobe InDesign is desktop publishing software that has evolved with the times to include digital publishing, with Web and mobile compatibility. While these extra features have slowed down the program -- perhaps to the detriment of traditional print publishers -- they have served as powerful new tools to the many publications moving to digital publishing.
When you want to remove multiple links in Adobe InDesign, you can follow the same process as you would when removing an individual link. After a hyperlink is removed, the text or graphic remains.
Locate the Hyperlinks panel to remove the hyperlink without affecting the source text or graphic. If you want to delete the source text or graphic, as well as the link associated with it, simply deleting this source will delete the hyperlinks as well.
Select the items to be removed in the Hyperlinks panel. You can select all links in a list by selecting the first in the list and then hitting Shift and simultaneously clicking on the last in the list. If the links are not all in one list, select "Command" (on a Mac) or "Ctrl" (on a PC) and simultaneously click each hyperlink.
Click the "Delete" button at the bottom of the Hyperlinks panel, and the selected hyperlinks are deleted.
