How Do I Become Part of a Network on Facebook?
Facebook keeps you connected with friends, contacts, relatives and other people you know. Joining a specific Facebook network targets a smaller group of people than the entire Facebook community but a larger group than your friends alone. Facebook-supported networks range from colleges and high schools to some businesses. You must have an email address associated with the network to join.

Sign in to your Facebook account. Click "Account" in the upper-right corner and then click "Account Settings" in the list of options that appears. This takes you to a new page.

Click the "Networks" tab on the new page to display any networks of which you are currently a member.

Begin typing the name of the network you wish to join into the "Find a network" field on this page. Select the appropriate network from the list of matching options that appears.

Type your network-affiliated email address into the appropriate field and then click "Join Network." This sends a confirmation email to the email address you entered. Click the link in that email to finish joining the network.
