Brink's is a worldwide provider of security services and products, including security lighting systems. The company was founded in 1859. Its services include armored transportation and cash management. Brink's also provides logistic and security solutions for banks, businesses and homeowners. The Brink's security lighting system includes motion-sensor technology. Regular care and inspection of a Brink's 7011 security lighting system can help optimize its continued performance.

  • Inspect the bulb if it blinks intermittently or not at all. Replace the bulb if needed. Unscrew the lens cover by rotating it counter-clockwise, and then remove it. Remove the reflector assembly. Extract the old bulb by gently pulling it directly out of the socket. Align the prongs of the new bulb with the prongs of the socket and gently push it straight into the socket until it is completely sealed. Reinsert the reflector assembly and lens cover over the bulb. Screw the lens cover clockwise until it is snugly attached.

  • Reset the "Automatic Operation" mode if the unit fails to activate after daylight hours. Turn off the corresponding wall switch for a second, and then back on. The floodlight will stay deactivated until the motion-sensor detects movement.

  • Check the circuit breaker if the security lighting system fails to operate. If a breaker has been tripped, reset it. Too many electrical devices on the circuit might cause an overload. Remove any unnecessary device from the circuit to avoid tripping the breaker while the lights are active.
