How to Make a Nice Tumblr

Tumblr is free and easy to use, making it a popular website for creating blogs. Tumblr account owners can modify the appearance of their blogs to make an attractive, personalized pages. To make a nice Tumblr, you can download pre-created themes from the Tumblr website and add the theme to your blog with the click of a button. Once you've added the desired theme, customize the colors and appearance from the menu bar.

Instructions

1. Go to the Tumblr website and log in or create your Tumblr account. Select an existing blog from the top bar, or click the first icon on the top right bar to create a new blog.

2. Select "Customize Appearance" from the right panel. Open a new tab or window.

3. Go to the "Theme Garden" on the Tumblr website. Select "Featured," "Premium," "Recent" and "Popular" to look through the list of Tumblr themes.

4. Click "Preview" to view a mock-up of a Tumblr theme you're interested in. If you see a theme you want to use, click the "Install" button.

5. Select your preferred blog from the drop-down menu. Click "Install Theme."

6. Return to your blog page and press "F5" to refresh. Click the "Appearance" tab.

7. Click the color swatch next to "Background Color," "Text Color" and "Link Color" to personalize the Tumblr layout. Check or uncheck the options in the tab to further modify the layout's appearance. The options and color options will vary depending on the theme.

8. Click "Save & Close" from the top menu bar to save your Tumblr's appearance.
