The Live View Mode feature of your digital camera exports the image from the camera's lens to an external display, such as your TV or your computer. Connect the camera to your computer to use the camera to record video directly to your computer's hard drive. Windows comes with the Windows Live Movie Maker utility that includes the necessary utilities to display the picture from your camera and record the footage to your hard drive.
