How to Arrange a Surprise for Your Wife
The key to arranging a successful surprise is to know the person to be surprised really well. As you should know your wife as well as anyone, you are in a good position to carry this off. Not everybody loves a surprise; this is why you need to be sure of the recipient's attitude before you begin organizing your plan. Some people automatically think a surprise has to be a party, but this is not the case. There are many other ways to surprise your wife.

Review everything you know about your wife and think about any clues you may have about something she has always dreamed about doing. Remember, you must focus on what she likes. Speak to her parents, siblings and friends if you need help with ideas. Think of the obvious things she may enjoy; for instance if there is a singer or performer she really loves, think about getting surprise tickets for a performance.

Organize a surprise party, if your wife would enjoy this. Only choose this option if you think you can keep the secret, and employ the necessary subterfuge to arrange the party. Ask her friends and other family members to help if you decide on a party. You need to think about an alternative address or contact phone number so guests can reply. Tell your wife a little white lie to put her off the track, such as arranging something for the next day.

Think outside the normal range. Surprises come in forms other than parties. If your wife is sporty or adventurous she may enjoy an extreme challenge such as a parachute jump. Be sure, though, before you arrange something like this, even if it means having a conversation about this type of activity, well in advance of the day.

Plan a surprise on a budget. It is possible to plan a surprise that costs very little, but can still show your heartfelt appreciation. Plan and prepare a secret picnic and take your wife to the park or the countryside. Spend an unexpected day together, just hanging out, or prepare dinner. Do not forget the candles.
