How to Use a Code for "Grand Theft Auto IV"
"Grand Theft Auto IV (GTA IV)" is an open-world action game that features many weapons, characters and vehicles. Using cheat codes will instantly grant you special abilities, weapons and vehicles. You can input cheat codes using the in-game cell phone that you typically use to contact other characters. A message will appear on the screen after you've successfully entered the code.

Start a single player game.

Press the "Up" button on the directional pad for PS3/Xbox 360 or press the "Up" arrow on the keyboard to open the cell phone.

Press the directional pad to select the number you want to input on the cell phone. Press the "A" button on the Xbox 360, the "X" button on the PS3 or press any of the number keys on the PC to enter the number. All GTA IV codes are 10 digits and have different effects. For example, to remove a wanted level, enter 267-555-0100 into the cell phone. Select the green "Call" icon on the left to activate the code.
