How to Open Files on Willow Tree
Willow Tree is a third-party tool created for use with the Borderlands video game. This tool allows you to load your save files from the PC version of Borderlands. Once you have loaded the file, you can alter the elements of your save states, allowing you to change weapons, add experience and switch locations. After you alter the save state, you'll have the changes reflected the next time you load this save in Borderlands.

Open Willow Tree.

Click the Willow Tree icon in the upper left corner of the program.

Click "Open."

Navigate to your Borderland's save file location. Select this file and click "Open." The file now loads into the Willow Tree program. You can go from tab to tab to alter the variables in your save file.
