How to Install PHP Live Chat on a Volusion Store

Volusion is an e-commerce service provider that provides services for websites such as shopping cart systems, Web design and credit card processing services. The company has customizable features such as adding Live Chat to your sales website. Volusion has reasonable pricing for their services and offers live support to troubleshoot any issues their customers have while using their services.

• Volusion account

Instructions

1. Go to the Volusion website and scroll to the bottom of the page. Click on "Run My Store." On the next page, click on "Live Chat Download."

2. Download the software and open it to start the installation process. Enter your Volusion login details. Customize your Live Chat settings for personal use and customers. Click "Save" to save your settings.

3. Click "Click to Chat" to test the features and view the screen as a customer views it.

4. Add the Live Chat to your storefront by visiting the Live Chat settings page and clicking the "Copy this script to clipboard" option. Log in as an administrator and and click on "Marketing." Click "Add" from the scroll-down bar.

5. Select "Group," then "Miscellaneous" from the next drop-down menu. Copy and paste the

   Javascript from Step 1 into the "Body."

6. Enter a column number into the space labeled "Special Order" and the chat icon will appear in the menu area. Click "Save" to finalize the changes.

• Click "Chat" on the top navigation of Volusion's website to troubleshoot the process if you encounter difficulties.
