How to Upload Spreadsheets Onto WordPress 2.9
WordPress is an open-source blog and website creation tool that offers a Web template system and widgets you can use to customize your blog. WordPress version 2.9 was released in 2009, and offered the ability to host documents such as Microsoft Word or Excel. If you have a spreadsheet you would like to display on your WordPress site, you can quickly do so through the the "Media" feature. Once your file is uploaded, all you have to do is paste the URL into your post.

Log in to your WordPress 2.9 account.

Click "Media" and "Add New."

Click "Select Files." Click the spreadsheet you want to upload and click "Open." Enter a title and caption for your spreadsheet, then click "Save All Changes." This creates a file URL of your spreadsheet.

Click "New Post" and copy the file URL you created in Step 3 into the post to display your spreadsheet on your WordPress blog.
