How to Convert Pinnacle to YouTube
Pinnacle Studio is a software program that allows you to create and edit videos. After you save the video file, it is saved in the .stx file extension. This format is unique to the Pinnacle Studio program and is not compatible with the YouTube video site. If you have a video you've created through Pinnacle Studio, you can convert it to a YouTube-compatible format such as .mov. When it is converted you are able to upload your video to YouTube.

Launch your Pinnacle Studio application. Click "File," "Open Project." Select and double-click the .stx file you want to convert to a YouTube-compatible video file.

Click "Make Movie." Select .mov as the format for the video file under "File Type."

Click "Full Screen" beneath "Preset." This ensures the video plays in a full screen format as opposed to other types, such as a wide screen format.

Click "Create File" and "Save." Your Pinnacle video file is now compatible for upload on YouTube.
