How to Attach a Holster to a Fanny Pack

Fanny packs are often worn by tourists.

A fanny pack is a small pouch with a strap designed to go around the waist or hip and a holster is a device that is used to securely hold a handgun. It is often attached to a belt for quick access. The straps on the fanny pack are much like a belt and the holster's clip can attach to the fanny pack's straps. Some holsters have a loop system like the belt loops on pants, while others have a clip. Hunters are likely to attach a holster to a fanny pack. The fanny pack can hold important supplies, GPS, phone and first aid kit. The holster is for a side arm, which is carried for protection while hunting.

Instructions

1. 

   Holsters are designed to provide easy access to the gun.

   Put the fanny pack on. Adjust the length of the straps to fit the waist. The pack should fit tightly around the waist. The additional weight of the holster can drag the fanny pack down, which is why it needs to be tight.

2. Remove the fanny pack.

3. String the strap of the fanny pack through the loop in the holster.

4. Put the fanny pack back on. Arrange the holster in the most comfortable position by sliding it along the fanny pack's strap. If the holster is a clip-on, then clip it on to the fanny pack's strap in the desired location.
