How to Tell If Your Aboveground Pool Is Stable?
If you want the relaxation and fun of an in-ground pool without the hassle or expense, an aboveground model can be a good alternative. These pools are typically less costly to install and maintain, but they can have their problems as well. If the pool is not sitting on perfectly level ground, it could become unstable, posing a safety risk to everyone who uses that pool. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Check the area around your pool each morning. It is normal to see some water around the pool, especially if it is used heavily. But puddles of water at one side or the other could indicate the pool is leaning and unstable.
-
2
Measure the depth of the water at each side of the aboveground pool. The water should be the same depth all around the pool. If one side is lower than the other, the pool might not be level. If the pool is not perfectly level, the weight of the water can cause it to become unstable.

Run your hands down the sides of the pool and feel for bulges or bubbles. These indicate that water is pushing on the pool frame, probably because the pool is not sitting level.
