How to Change the Email on a Disabled Facebook Account

Reactivate your Facebook account to change your email address.

After your Facebook account has been deactivated, you can change your email address only by reactivating it. The reactivation process is very simple and only requires that you log into your deactivated Facebook account again using your old email address or Facebook user name and your old password. You don't need to have access to your old email account to reactivate your Facebook account.

Instructions

1. Use your email address and password to log into your disabled Facebook account. If you cannot remember your email address or no longer have access to it, use your Facebook user name.

2. Select the "Edit My Profile" link at the top of the screen.

3. Click the "Contact Information" link that is located on the left side of the screen.

4. Locate the "Emails" heading and click the "Add/Remove Emails" link.

5. Type your new email address into the "New Contact Email" text box. Click the "Add New Email" button.

6. Verify the change by entering your password in the box that appears. Click the "Confirm" button.
