How to Core a Brussels Sprout
As relatives to cabbage, Brussels sprouts are small yet robust vegetables that add extra protein to your diet. Resembling "baby cabbages," Brussels sprouts grow slowly over the duration of a long growing season. When the time comes to harvest them, these vegetables require some care before they are served. Similar to cabbages, Brussels sprouts contain a small core that needs to be removed before cooking so that they are not tough upon chewing. Does this Spark an idea?
