How to Cut a Path in InDesign
Adobe InDesign shares a number of drawing and path manipulation tools with Adobe Illustrator. The basic paradigm for drawing in both programs is shapes defined by lines, which are called paths. When a set of paths has all of their anchor points linked, they form a shape with a fill. Paths are drawn with the Pencil and Pen tools. Paths are cut with the Scissors tool.
