How to Make Diagrams Zoom in PowerPoint thumbnail
Diagrams and other objects may be animated in PowerPoint presentations.

You can create dynamic presentations using Microsoft's PowerPoint program. In addition to text editing, PowerPoint has features that allow you to add images and other objects to your slides. Items in the slides, including diagrams, may be animated using a variety of pre-formatted motion types. One of the animation schemes, "Zoom," will make objects to which it is added appear to zoom in and out from a slide.

Instructions

    • 1

Launch PowerPoint and open the presentation file. Select the slide that contains the diagram that you want to animate from the "Slides" pane to the left of the screen.

    • 2

Click the diagram to which you want to add the "Zoom" animation. Click the "Animations" tab and locate the "Animation" section.

    • 3

Click the "More" button to display a list of available animation schemes. Click the "Zoom" option to make the selected diagram zoom during the presentation.
