Eclipse Credit Card Machine Instructions
If you are running a business, you know that you can increase sales by offering customers alternative ways to pay, such as bank cards and credit cards. Eclipse makes a line of bank card machines that you can install in your business to allow customers to pay instantly with a debit card, credit card or a check. Using the machine is simple once it is installed - you just need to run the card or check through the machine.

Press the "Credit" button on the machine to begin a bank or credit card transaction. Press the "Check" button to begin a check transaction. You will see "Account #" appear on the screen. At this point you can swipe the customer's card through the card reader or enter the check into the scanner.

Use the keypad on the machine to enter the last four digits of the card number or account number from the check when prompted. The account number will appear on the screen. Make sure it matches the number on the card or check then press "Yes" to accept it and continue.

Use the keypad to enter the "Sale" amount into the machine when prompted. Include the decimal point in the correct position to account for dollars and cents. If the total is correct, press "Enter." Use the keypad to enter in the tax amount when prompted and press "Enter" when finished.

Press "Yes" or "No" when asked "Tax Exempt?" based on the customer. If prompted by the machine, enter in the customer's address and zip code using the keypad. You can also have the customer enter this information instead. Once the transaction goes through, you will be asked if you wish to print a receipt. Press "Yes" or "No."
