How to Dissolve Bronze
There are many reasons to dissolve bronze, like to remove oxidation. Dissolving bronze, like other metals, requires the use of acid. Acids can burn the skin and eyes and ruin clothing. When working with acids, safety precautions need to be taken to avoid accidental contact with skin and clothes. Always wear protective gloves, aprons and safety glasses. Acids can also burn through many plastic and metal containers, so use only high-quality glass containers to hold acids.
