How to Switch From Netzero.Com to Yahoo.Com

NetZero is an Internet browser, optimized for dial-up users, that features a home page with links to daily headlines, ads and more. You can easily switch your primary Web browser from NetZero to Yahoo! in a matter of minutes.

      Launch your NetZero Web browser.

      Type "Yahoo!" into the search field. Click "Search."

      Click on the first search result, which will be the Yahoo! home page.

      Click the "Make Y! Your Homepage" link, located in the upper left corner of the screen. A list of directions for setting Yahoo! as your home page will appear.

      Click the "Tools" option at the top of your computer screen.

      Click "Options" within the "Tools" menu.

      Click the end of the "Home Page" box that will currently be filled with the NetZero Web address. Your cursor should be on the right side of the NetZero address.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you have a paid NetZero account, Contact NetZero customer support to request an account cancellation at the NetZero customer support contact screen. You will be asked to provide your NetZero sign-in address and password. NetZero does not provide a contact phone number, but states that customer support representatives answer e-mails 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Inform the NetZero customer service representative who contacts you that you want to cancel your account. The representative will do so and will send you a confirmation email.
