Messenger, you can chat with your friends, play games, share files, broadcast a webcam and chat in a wide variety of chat rooms. When you broadcast your webcam while chatting in a Yahoo! chat room, you can invite other users to view your webcam. Yahoo! Messenger includes a privacy feature that allows you to pause the webcam and resume broadcasting at anytime.

      Open Yahoo! Messenger and sign in to your account.

      Click the "Messenger" button at the top of the Yahoo! Messenger and click "My Webcam" from the drop-down menu. Yahoo! loads your webcam in a separate window and displays the image on your screen.

      Click the "Messenger" button at the top of your Yahoo! Messenger and click "Yahoo! Chat." Click "Join a Room" and select a room from the list.

      Right-click a name from the list of other users in the chat room and click "Invite to View My Webcam." The user receives an invitation to view your webcam.

      Return to the "My Webcam" window and click the "Pause" button below your streaming webcam to pause the broadcast. Click the "Pause" button to resume broadcasting your webcam.
