How Do I Highlight Multiple Items on a Mac?
Macs and PCs seem to be ideologically opposed devices, and the idea of using one type of computer when you are only familiar with the other can seem daunting. Fortunately, most basic Mac skills are essentially the same as their Windows counterparts, often differing in just a few minor procedures.

Click and drag the cursor over the text or item that you wish to highlight.

Push one of the Command (or Apple icon) buttons next to the space bar while clicking and dragging the cursor over the other items that you wish to highlight.

Press "Ctrl" and click to summon a menu of options for the selections, such as "Cut," "Copy" and "Paste."

Tips & Warnings
Highlighting an item, pushing "Shift" and then clicking another selection will highlight everything between the original selection and where you clicked.
