How to Figure Out How Many Pages Are in a Book When Reading a Kindle Version
Amazon's Kindle devices are eReaders designed to store and display thousands of books in a small, efficient form. There are many advantages to e-books, but one of the more confusing aspects is pagination. Because e-books are text files, and the number of page divisions varies by the font and screen size, it can be hard to share an exact location in a digital book. The latest version of the Kindle software solves this problem by assigning a static page number to any book position.

Tips & Warnings
Because most e-book "pages" display less text than an actual book page, the "real" page displayed on the Kindle progress bar may encompass two or three digital pages. If you're looking for a specific passage on a numbered page, you may still have to go a position forward or back on the same "page" to find it.
