How to Change Your PayPal Address

PayPal is a website where you can send and receive money electronically. It is used as a method of payment for many online stores. PayPal uses your email address as your account username. When purchasing products, the product is often sent to the main street address listed on the PayPal account. If you move or change your email address, you should update your PayPal account so the funds get transferred correctly.

Change Street Address

Open a Web browser and visit the PayPal website.

Log in to your PayPal account.

Click the "Profile" link at the top of the PayPal page.

Click the "Street Address" link under the "Account Information" column.

Click the "Add address" button at the bottom of the screen.

Type the new address into the text boxes.

Click the "Save" button to save the changes on your PayPal account.

Click the "Make Home" link next to the new address, if you want this address to be the default address for your PayPal account.

Click the "Remove" link next to any addresses that are no longer valid.

Change Email Address

Click on the "Profile" link at the top of the page from the main PayPal screen on the website.

Click the "Email" link under the "Account Information" column.

Click the "Add" button on the bottom right side of the PayPal Account Information page.

Type the new email address you want to use with your PayPal account in the text box.

Click the "Save" button to save the change to your PayPal account.

Select any email addresses that are no longer valid for use with your PayPal account.

Click the "Remove" button to remove the email address from your PayPal account.
