Contact your state's department or division of labor, employment or unemployment insurance and ask a representative for the relevant Web address and the title and location of the benefits or claims link you need to click to access the claims system. Two examples of benefits or claims link titles are "Claiming Benefits" or "Claims Filing System."

If a link doesn't take you straight to the unemployment page, locate the benefits or unemployment link on the page that opens and click it to find the information that you need.
States usually only allow access to an online unemployment systems during the normal business hours of the division or department that handles unemployment claims.
Your state may require that you continue to use your Social Security Number every time you use the system after the initial setup. Login requirements vary by state.
