How to Clean the Scratch Resistant Coating for Glare on Glasses
When you purchase a pair of eyeglasses, you have several choices when it comes to the types of lenses that you use. An anti-reflective coating can be added to minimize glare, along with a scratch resistant coating to minimize the chances that the anti-reflective coating is removed when cleaning your lenses. While proper cleaning can be done anywhere in less than a minute with the right liquid and cloth, one missed step can cause damage. Spray your glasses with a lens-cleaning solution. If you do not have this solution, use water.

Wipe away any streaks or dirt marks with a microfiber lens cloth. This type of cloth is made to prevent scratching or removing the anti-glare coating on your glasses.

Continue wiping the lenses with the microfiber cloth until all of the cleaning solution has been absorbed. One final wipe down will help remove streaks from the lenses.
