How to Buff Out Small Scratches on Chrome
Buffing small scratches out of your vehicle's chrome trim helps keep your car or motorcycle looking its best. Of course, minor scratches are easier to fix than deep gouges and scrapes. Auto stores sell a range of chrome polish and scratch removal products for this purpose. Read the product label before you buy to ensure the polish is suitable for use on chrome.

Wipe away any excess product with a clean cloth until the chrome shines. Repeat these steps as necessary for other areas of your car or bike. Chrome footplates accumulate scratches faster than other parts, for example.
