How to Remove a CD Disk That Is Stuck in an Acer Aspire Z5600 Computer

A small pin is needed to eject the disc.

The Acer Aspire Z5600 is an all-in-one desktop computer with a 23-inch touchscreen display. The DVD drive is built into the side of the unit. In some situations, a DVD or CD disc can become stuck in the drive. The drive is equipped with a manual release mechanism that allows the tray to be partially ejected if the standard eject function does not work.

• Small pin

Instructions

1. Insert a small pin into the hole directly below the disc drive tray.

2. Press the pin in until the end of the disc tray pops out of the side of the Z5600.

3. Pull the disc tray the rest of the way out by hand. Remove the CD disc from the tray.
