How to Put Out Luminaries
A luminary is small paper bag that holds a tea candle. Multiple luminaries are often set along a driveway to add a soft, candle-lit glow to the landscaping. Luminaries are popular decorations at Christmas, weddings, memorial services and even Halloween. Some neighborhood associations will plan large neighborhood luminary projects to line the streets with the small lanterns. The decorations are an inexpensive way to add a beautiful effect to your event or holiday celebration. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Line your driveway or walk way with luminary bags. These bags are made of the same paper material as a brown paper bag, but they are white to brighten the effect of the tea candle. Make sure to space the bags evenly to keep the decorations symmetric. If you have enough luminaries, line both sides of the walkway or driveway.

Tips & Warnings
Try using battery operated LED tea candles instead of standard tea candles. They are more expensive, but they last longer and they are not a fire hazard.
Do not leave lit luminaries unattended, because they could pose a fire risk.
