How to Save Ringtones From Messages on a Virgin Mobile X-tc
The Virgin Mobile X-tc phone is capable of receiving multimedia messages from other mobile phones or email. You can save any ringtone you receive in a message to your phone's memory. After saving, you can use the ringtone the same way you can use the phone's pre-loaded ringtones. You can delete the multimedia message after the ringtone is saved and still retain the file on your phone.

Press the "Menu" key on the Virgin Mobile X-tc while viewing the home screen.

Click "Messaging" and select "Inbox" to view all of your received messages.

Highlight the multimedia message containing the ringtone you want to save and press "OK" to view the message.

Press the "Menu" key and click "Save File." The ringtone will be downloaded to your phone's memory card and added to the "Ringtones" folder.
